Research Catalyst Grant 2025-2026 Awardees

The UofT India Foundation provides seed funds to the Research Catalyst Grantees to establish and support partnerships between U of T faculty and Indian academic, research, and non-profit partner. Together, they co-create research yielding solutions, evidence, and insights that will build more sustainable and resilient Indian cities from small towns to megapolises.

Facing stiff competition from a pool of outstanding applications, the winning five for the 2025-26 cohort of UofT India Foundation & School of Cities Research Catalyst Grant, stood out for their stellar projects that drive innovative, collaborative urban research.
